All hands on deck to dig out our compost heaps! A hard job, but the reward is a huge pile of beautiful compost for our growing beds. We maintained our machinery, constructed a bench with mixed logs, built a trellis for our sweet peas and replanted in the rose garden.

Our community is keeping tradition alive with a wassail. Everyone joined the short procession down to our orchard. Together we honoured the King tree, sang the traditional wassail song and made plenty of noise to welcome warmer days. It was an enjoyable, cheerful afternoon!
