A few summers ago, a young camper spent their first time out in nature at camp. One night, during a hike, they looked up at the sky and said out loud in amazement, “So this is where they keep the stars…” 🌟 💫

Connecting to the outdoors is something ✨anyone✨ can do. All it takes is looking up 🌌

That’s why our Director of Youth Safety & Well-being, Nikki, has written an open letter for caregivers on preventing youth-to-youth abuse—because creating safe environments for kids starts before camp even begins.

A child-safety trend we are seeing in youth development spaces is an increase in youth-to-youth abuse.

This is a challenging but necessary conversation, and we're providing resources to help parents & caregivers talk with their young people before camp begins.
