Went back for another interview with United Airlines and this time I got an offer. I didn't get Seattle but I'll be in San Francisco for a year and then hopefully transfer once I gain some credit and a position opens. But excited for the journey!

Interview for United Airlines could have gone better. I nailed the interview portion. The practical i seized up. I skipped one project i was taking too long on and when I came back to it my 90mins was up. They want to hire me, i just need to wait 60 days to retest the practical.

Bbq night last night was amazing. I made 2 different types of BBQ shredded chicken in crock pots and another friend did ribs and corn. All went well paired with some homemade coleslaw.

Decided to drive almost 2 hours to down and see family for one of my nephews 1 year old birthday. It was nice seeing everyone sense I missed out on Thanksgiving and Christmas I love my family but I am NOT a kid person, and 6 kids age ranging from 1-5 was waaaay too much for me.

First attempt in making spam musubi and I'm quite impressed with myself. Made my own marinade for the spam and added a little Sriracha Mayo between the rice and spam 👌

Not that I was worried but glad to know my job security just increased thanks to a customer bringing their planes back for more work sense we did a good job

I haven't had to do any heavy maintenance in awhile. It was alot of fun working 2 days to drop 2 250lb heat exchangers from a 787 for overhaul. Putting them back in might be more interesting.
