I took a picture of The Muddy Goose Guide from @demagoguepress.bsky.social and a duck visited. I feel like there might be some dramatic history here, or maybe the duck just wishes it was The Muddy Duck Guide.
My story “Green Lake: The Game” is in this playable anthology!

The part of the year where I get to see the amazing new things authors I have published before, show off their 2025 eligibility and I can tell them - way to go!

Omg this story! It hit me right in the heart. Your descriptions were so poetic, and I found myself entranced. “blue silence of our imagined memory” - amazing. (I also love the ocean so throughly appreciate any piece that deals with oceans and identity intensely like this). Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much! That means a lot that you enjoyed my story ☺️ I’m looking forward to reading yours!

It’s that time of year when everyone goes ‘Omg I gotta tell everyone all the things they can nominate me for’ and then sits around wondering if anyone actually will.

Feel free to nominate my stories for a Hugo, Nebula, Stoker, BSFA, Pulitzer, Nobel… But, equally, I’m thrilled if you just read them.

Yes agreed! I’m excited to read your piece too! (Unfortunately no cute mud emojis exist 😭 I tried looking when I made my post too)
