BREAKING NEWS! The Combined Authority Board has voted to maintain the Tiger Pass (£1 bus fares for under-25s) 🐅 🚃 🐅

This means young people in our region will benefit from £1 bus fares until at least the end of March 2027.

Work now starts on a long-term plan for the Pass.

Education, faith and civic leaders have written to the Mayor to urge him to continue the Tiger Pass scheme (£1 bus fares for under-25s) next year.

#FridayFacts. New housing developments can be designed so that it is not necessary to own a car to live a full life.

In Kungsängen and Rosendal districts in Uppsala (Sweden) the bus is what people use unless they cycle or walk. Trams are also planned.

A new, permanent Tiger Pass scheme might only be available to those aged 18 and under for term-time journeys.
