Thinking about it, I kinda have to thank RuneScape’s Dungeoneering skill for getting me into rogue-likes when I was younger. It certainly primed me to know how to play dungeon crawlers like PMD.
It had a whole ice dungeon setting around it as well, oddly lines up with Gates’ whole thing, too… hmm…
