I've recently read Emily Wilson translation of The Odyssey and I happened to do so right when I was putting together the story for Starstitcher and thus likened some of the characters to some in that story. Captain Then is, once you see the Starstitcher flag probably pretty easy to guess.

I really thought I was putting the design together for a new character while drawing her and then it dawned on me. And just to test it out, I drew the forehead tattoo and turns out it's just an old character from 5 years ago, I can't escape from my own lore
