The most common struggle I see in fics is how to punctuate dialogue tags correctly, so remember:
"Hi," she said. ✅️
"Hi." She said. 🚫
"Hi," she said and pouted. ✅️
"Hi," she pouted. 🚫
"Hi." She pouted. ✅️
When this is done right, the story is so much easier to read.
