The best decision I made for myself was to stop being so terminally online. I see so many people obsessed with their online presence and hunting for cheap dopamine hits, and you KNOW it’s not fucking healthy.
If you’ve thought about trying to step back from it all, DO IT. You won’t miss anything.

I didn’t get any physical gifts this year (nor did I ask for any), because what a gift it is being a dad and a grandpa.
I recall being a bit sad as I got older when gifts became more and more sparse, but what a joy to realize family is my greatest gift every single day.
