The weirdest thing about being a Flaming Lips fan in a tightly knit community of other fans is watching people I've gone to shows with think they're having a spiritual awakening, while in reality, they're just crashing out all over social media.

The album House of Sleep by the band Auto Pilot has got to be one of the most under appreciated masterpieces that exists. It has aged like fine wine and it scares me.
