My copy of this arrived on 2/6, although the official release is March 10. It's an anthology of writings about the Great Lakes. My piece, On Thinning Ice, is in the book. It's about a hike across frozen Lake Superior with my friend Scott in -13 degree weather to view the ice caves on Sand Island.

It is mostly a cream color, but with a long black patch on each wing and a couple lighter black spots toward the bottom. It almost looks like a burnt piece of wood.
