Little worn out from trying to take art so seriously (digital painting) when my newer computer kicked the bucket, and everything takes 3x as long on my old laptop and is far too slow to do that kind of work. I'll probably still post pixel art from time to time, as I still enjoy it.

Sick for nearly a week now, was hopeful I'd be better by today but woke up to violently coughing. Guess a lot of people in my whole town has been recently, just feels a bit frustrating, though I guess it's funny that I sound 10 years older lately.

I know I haven't been posting very often these days,( not as much art either), but I hope I'll be able to show you guys something cool again soon

Game development is constantly interesting, as it can feel like you're doing nearly every discipline, on your own. Equally, makes it feel quite overwhelming at times, so keeping scale in mind is key.

Friend released a free, high quality art book on how to draw Mech, he's incredibly good at what he does for a living, worth a look:

I might not be doing too well financially these days, but what I do have right now is time, and the ability to learn and progress, and practice each day, and will continue to do so.

It's interesting when you limit yourself-it affects you unconsciously. You start to not even see things as an option when they've been there the whole time.

Makes you start to think things are more possible than you realize, instead of staying where you are, you must go beyond mental constraints.

Even if it's challenging, I've always loved how tangible improving art is. It's actually been years since I've taken it seriously so I have to relearn a lot of things. It feels like gaining exp everyday.
