I swear, no matter what I write about on Collider, there will be some old person who will either defend a movie no matter how bad it is or talk down on a movie no matter how good it is. It's kind of hilarious the amount of rage that I have created with my lukewarm film takes.

A lot of classic holiday movies are decades old, very few modern movies have been memorable enough to be in contention as a modern-day classic, but The Holdovers is genuinely as good as some of the best Christmas films of all time. Decades from now this will be considered a Christmas classic.

I had heard that the new Nosferatu was pretty erotic going in, but I genuinely was not ready for just how wild and freaky that movie ended up being. Had a great time with it, but thinking back to The Lighthouse I shouldn't be surprised that Eggers would supercharge sexual content in a vampire story.

Despite actively disliking the previous two, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 managed to not be a bad movie! It’s from great, still a 6/10, but definitely the best of the 3 in a landslide.

Sonic fans are getting too comfortable thinking Sonic 3 will beat Mufasa at the box office opening weekend. Moana 2 just set a bunch of box office records despite “coming out of nowhere”, so don’t underestimate these Disney sequels, audiences come out for these in droves.
