Nyx was trying REALLY hard to keep me in bed this morning 😭 I took his arm off me multiple times and he kept angrily grunting in his sleep and grabbing me again.

My work should finish prepping my tax forms so I can get my tax refund.
My part time job I had over the summer already gave theirs, just missing my main jobs documents then I can prep to file.

You know what was an underrated show that I wish they would have finished? Ash vs evil dead. I hadn't heard of it, nyx showed it to me, then only after we watched the last released episode told me they never finished it.

I've gotten Melona brand popsicles before and love them, but at our local Asian market the other day I found Ube flavoured ones 🤤 I'm already a huge sucker for Ube flavoured stuff, this was an INSTA buy.
They are 10/10 definitely recommend.

As somebody who has a cat that uses wood pellet litter, I don't understand why folks prefer clay litter.
The cats I'm pet sitting use clay litter and it stinks BAD and they buy the GOOD litter.
My 6$ 40lb bag of wood pellet litter is way less dusty and doesn't have such a harsh ammonia smell 😬

I definitely shouldn't be awake and should still be cozy in bed... Of course since I'm awake to go feed/let out the pets I'm pet sitting MY pets want to be fed and let out too.

When you're exhausted from your week but remember you promised your sister you would hang out today while the hubby is at work, and you have to drop in twice later to pet sit for somebody.
PLUS can't sleep in the next day because the same pets need to go out/eat early in the morning.

Also low-key bummed thought I would have a chill weekend since I had no plans, but somebody needs me to pet sit and check on the pets at least 3-4 times a day from Friday to Sunday 🫠 which means I still need to get up early.

So glad nyx swaps to days just before my boss leaves for Paternity for two months. I don't think I would have survived the extra work stress plus picking him up late 4 nights a week 🥹

I really need to stop feeling bad about just taking PTO when I need it. A few of my coworkers miss multiple days a month for the most random of reasons, yet I mentally struggle to just take a long weekend here and there.
