I realized well into this evening that my next event is not, in fact, the Honey Bee Festival on the 16th, but a market I signed up for this Sunday. 🤦♀️ I had started mock setting up my festival display, so I have to re-pack some things, but I am SO glad I was looking closely at my calendar tonight!

I wrapped up these bee charm fringe earrings today and am SO pleased with how they turned out! I initially struggled with the pattern, but got it right after restringing a couple of times!

Today a woman posted a photo of herself in a war bonnet and a very non-regalia costume to go with it in my comments to tell me she needed a pair of my earrings to go with the outfit. I am pretty clear that I am not an indigenous beader and do my best to be respectful, and that had me stunned. 😳

Vendor markets: Please use geo targeting when creating ads for vendor signups. My IG stories are full of ads for markets that aren't in my area and you're wasting ad spend targeting an irrelevant audience. 🤦♀️ (First world problems, I know, but I DO want to see ads for events that are relevant to me!)

The world is literally and figuratively on fire and my heart breaks multiple times a day from breaking news so . . . I just spent $300 on jewelry supplies for a business I've been averaging $500 a month profit on so far this year to fill the void. 🤷♀️

I barely made back my fee today, but it was nice having my entire family stop by and I don't hate how I look here, so we're just counting the wins for now.

I've been running By Love Designs for over 14 years and doing markets since 2016, but today will be the first time my family comes to a show (because I've never done one in south Florida before) and I'm both excited and weirdly nervous. 🤪

Working on letter bead bracelets for a market in south Florida this Sunday, and it really bugs me that Dolphins fans say "go fins" and not "go phins!" 🤷♀️

I love when I'm scrolling through my feeds and spot my jewelry in photos people have posted or have been tagged in. It's weirdly even more special when they didn't tag me because it's like those pieces are such a regular part of their lives that they wouldn't tag me every time they're in a photo. 🥹
