Every part of this is so stupid and I feel so awful for this person who just wants to do tech consulting for the GSA and make Gelato.
Birdhouse Gelato plans to close, and the owner cites a financial issue: Their layoff at the hands of DOGE
DOGE eliminated Aspen Simone's day job, which was helping to support the fledgling Birdhouse Gelato. The situation is ironic, as Simone worked for a government-efficiency agency.

We need demo lite protections and partial facade preservation; no one for example sees the value of protecting the non street visible back of a church when the very revenue needed for its restoration, will likely come from bumping out the back to allow for an arts performance space for community use

Please keep your recyclables secure.

They are easily the #1 source of trash in our neighborhoods.

More than menus, street litter, and porch pirate residue.

(That's good news; we don't suffer as much from illegal dumping, etc).

Please, contain recyclables - don't use paper🛍️

This is a good overview of many of the issues that will be on the agenda for the coming legislative term.
Pa. lawmakers eye skill game regulation, taxation as new session begins
In an age of political division across the country, Harrisburg is no exception. Still, state lawmakers on both sides believe one measure has a good chance to pass.

Trash night?

Please ensure recycling is in a hard container (ok if not blue; just label it recycling). Paper bags blow trash everywhere.

For trash, please tie up bags securely. If your residence supports it, please use a trash can to contain the bags.
