I've also purified ArnA by mistake (who hasn't?). Did mass spec before plunging it though, so never got this nice structure :)

This morning, I wandered around the medical suppliers and tried to find a piece for our project, then I improvised something with the materials we had on hand-so, if you're solution-oriented and take ownership of your work, you solve it.. I hope you don't lose your excitement for doing science!

ArnA and AcrB were copurified and structurally resolved within the cryo-EM sample of the overexpressed membrane protein complex, FtsH and YidC. Our study reveals interesting findings and confirms the power of #cryoEM technique.
