Retired DOJ exec now blissfully driving a Head Start school bus every day…and I know all the songs. Loves: Ravens, Ducks of Oregon, Caps, Nats, and pie 🥧. Be well.
@chrislhayes.bsky.social Good morning, early riser reading the NYT online and bewildered as to why “Sirens’ Call” was not among their Notable books this year. It was brilliant and I go back about twice a month or so to re-read parts that seem to be coming true. A great achievement Chris…be well.

@muellershewrote.com Me, when I saw that you and @klasfeldreports.com did a quick video on the Halligan grand jury case today….

@sarahlongwell25.bsky.social @gtconway.bsky.social Could you, during a slow week when you’re straining for legal news to fill those podcast hours, consider doing a bit of a dive into this one? I can’t tell exactly what is being asked of the judge. Many thanks. Teresa www.nytimes.com/2025/11/06/n...

@joycevance.bsky.social #SistersInLaw Joyce, please review US District Judge William Young’s 150+ page opinion about free speech for non citizen students. I wish you had time on the podcast to go over his words in detail, but please mention it. Thank you.

@davidfrum.bsky.social what a great podcast today with Caitlin Dickerson. Every topic prompted more questions in my head, and then seconds later those issues were addressed. A very impressive episode. Thanks to you both.

Reading the beginning few sentences of David Sanger’s piece for the NYT and all I can think is how on earth had Pete Kegbreath not changed the name of Diego Garcia yet?

@therickwilson.bsky.social Rick, I listened to your time with Harry Litman on Talking Feds podcast today. Was so inspired by your passion for ‘26 & ‘28. Seems like I’m doing all I can but it’s not enough. More $$ coming to the Lincoln Project to help you out. Be well 💜

@sykescharlie.bsky.social “I’m older than the Pope”. I feel ya, Charlie! I’m exactly the same age as the Pope. A favorite parlor game at Mass is often “do you think the Pope is too old?” Now, when anyone thinks it time for a younger, less frail pontiff…they will be talking about ME! Oy!

@timmiller.bsky.social Happy Easter Monday, Tim…good Catholic school girl from the 60s here. Just wanted to say how much I enjoy and learn to depend on the Bulwark Takes podcasts. They are timely and pertinent and always interesting and I wanted you to know how much I enjoy them. Be well!

@davidfrum.bsky.social I liked your writing about “a loose screw” today & I look forward to your articles your podcasts. Here’s something that I, who thinks herself well informed, cannot understand and I thought you might: US trade postures made it so other countries were ripping us off? Thx

@joycewhitevance.bsky.social For #SistersInLaw I’m writing to ask for clarity on the issue discussed here. How does the DOJ assert executive privilege here? www.nytimes.com/2025/04/07/u...

@bsky.app hello, Bluesky: since late Friday I’ve been on an accelerated meltdown. As a former fed I’m watching institutions I cherish and laws I was taught to respect crumble. Having this Bluesky community sharing information is the salve to my broken heart. Thanks for bringing us together safely.

Okay, I follow a lot of smart people. And I need a smart people effort for my current nightmare. Have a family “diary” of sorts….a written history by lots of great aunts & uncles. Extremely legible. How or where or how (again) can I convert it to text?!?!?!
