I do like that I don't feel pressured to post everyday on this platform. Instagram became really damaging to my mental health. I kept telling myself that likes and comments didn't matter but that was a lie lol. Also putting timers on my social media apps has been a huge game changer.

Gandalf practice painting. Wrinkles are hard. Had to take a break for a few days as my wrist decided not to cooperate with how much I was drawing.

Some portrait practice. Disclaimer I was not trying for a one to one likeness. One of my goals this year is to get better drawing people. The plan is to draw a portrait a day. So why not post them on here. No matter how “bad” they are. A way to hold myself accountable I guess.

Just found out it was dragon appreciation day! This is an older piece but I am very proud of this as I did this strictly out of imagination.

A watercolor ink experiment character. This is one of my first attempts at a fantasy character. There are things I like and things that I need to work on. I have been studying more anatomy and gesture so might redo this at a later date.
