ugly little hyunin graphic summary of my treasure hunter au fic: title: i searched through all of time. there is only you by: straygold summary: Ultimately, it doesn’t matter that he and Hyunjin used to build sand castles together, or that Hyunjin saved him from hypothermia when they went hiking in Siberia. It doesn’t matter that Jeongin was the first boy Hyunjin ever kissed, or that Hyunjin was the first boy he ever kissed. All that matters is that Hyunjin is an agent of the Lions of Tranquility. He’s an enemy. He should be treated just like any other. The problem is, he is an enemy who knows Jeongin better than he knows himself. Or: Hyunjin and Jeongin were best friends, allies in hunting for artifacts that could end humanity as they know it. Now, Hyunjin is their enemy's top treasure hunter. The fate of the world is in his hands even when the Stones of Calamity aren't. Maybe Jeongin's heart is, too, even after all this time.

hyunin tomb raider au snippet: Hyunjin said he was in love with him. They haven't really seen each other in years. How could it be true? How could Hyunjin love him so much that it transcended betrayal and endured years of separation? Then again, Jeongin's love for Hyunjin persisted through it all despite his best efforts, like some reptile growing back limbs every time Jeongin tried to sever them. Could Hyunjin really have felt the same all this time? He thinks of Hyunjin, leaning into him not so unlike this, on Changbin's plane, threading the needle between life and death. I thought you were so amazing…Never grew out of it…I love you. It reminds him that ultimately, they are lucky. There is a universe where Hyunjin doesn't live — where Jeongin never feels his mouth on his again, and the only way he touches him is holding his cold hand in a casket. They never sit in lukewarm water together — Hyunjin never tells him he loves him, and Jeongin never sees him so soft and open. hyunin tomb raider au snippet: Jeongin leans forward just enough to press a kiss to the crown of Hyunjin's head. He stays there, focused on Hyunjin's weight against him — proof that they are here and safe despite their vulnerability. Jeongin believes there's something out there, outside the scientific laws of the universe. He has studied dozens of civilizations, their beliefs, and the ways they worship — discovered artifacts with power logic could never explain. There are countless people in history who saw signs where there weren't any. In some ways, it could be catastrophic if he's wrong — but at least he would be in good company.
