junji ito's stories are awesome because like, while im sure there is meaning behind these stories and i dont want to downplay his work as an artist and storyteller, a lot of the time the stories are just "that was a weird thing that happened huh? how spooky"

im really close to the end of shenmue 3 and its actually kind of impressive how hard this game has turned on me. and how the second half of the game is "waste your time in Kickstarter Backer village"
I've been playing shemue 3. And while its far from the best shenmue its pretty great

watched evil dead 2 with @diddgery.bsky.social and it was an absolute blast. its always so great to see practical effects. i dont wanna become an old man constantly saying "back in my day-" but.... practical effects are unbeatable
