tabletop rpgs are awesome because i can play as a loser scientist with the "power" to make copies of himself/other things and take him out on a bad date with a woman half his age.

with regards to that silly morrowind post going around: there is a type of beauty to making a completely smooth, frictionless, easy experience. however, i think humans are problem solvers, critical thinkers, storytellers. You do not get any of those things from a smooth experience

EDGE has had a very special place in my heart for decades, so it’s beyond amazing and wild to me that Snap & Grab received a full page(!) preview!! It’s going straight to the pool room.

impressed and surprised nintendo didnt just do the typical "body type A or body type B" bullshit that every other character creator does nowadays

im not an expert writer or even a particularly well-read individual but man, sometimes video game writing just gets under my skin so bad. i played a game that had an interesting setting and world and then the main character spoke and it just killed all of my enjoyment of the writing

I think I'm particularly good at mimicking styles and learning how a style works is an enjoyable experience.

I also think I'm a pretty solid pixel animator
Artists, I think we're all too comfortable sharing our imposter syndrome.

I would love to see you step out of your comfort zone and confidently state what you think you're actually really good at.

No self deprecation, just what you think you're the strongest at

Is anyone brave eniough? 👀

Made an absolutely sick 5 color vivid deck at prerelease. I think i could have won the whole thing if I built slightly different and played a little better. But it was such a blast. This set is top tier

i saw a game on steam that had the AI disclosure but the only (disclosed) use of AI was for images on the steam page. and to me thats kind of just the most lazy and punkass way to go about it. like was the shitty generic anime boy that only shows up on your steam page really worth it? lame ass
