optimistic take: wotc listening to preview fatigue complaints & changing things up. shame its with the best set of 2026 but could be a really positive change

tbh I've come to resent the "shorter games with worse graphics" mantra because I feel most people saying it never stand by it. What they want isn't a shorter game with worse graphics, what they want is to experience a novel piece of art, and for the conditions for that novel art to exist.

its always pretty disappointing to see big streamers play games that heavily use AI. Like i guess get that sponsor money? But it makes you look pretty bad even with the veneer of the wacky silly inoffensive guy
