I enjoy talking about games!
About 8 hours into Life is Strange remastered. Love the story, reminds me a bit of Gone Home, especially the peaceful voice acting. Looks absolutely terrible on switch, will be swapping to PS5 version after first game is done. Love a solid walking sim with a great story

Finished Last of Us: Part 1 remastered via PS5 physical . Glad I replayed this for a few reasons, my wife got to see this game in all its glory, PS5 remaster looks amazing, and there were definitely details I forgot took about 13.5 hours

Trying The Ascent again. Desktop was so buggy it was unplayable, on Steam Deck getting about a crash or hard lock per hour. Playable.
About 10 hours in, amazing world but bummed the core game is so buggy

Starting Kena Bridge of Spirits, I remember seeing previews for this at a PlayStation state of play, or maybe summer game fest and loving the look. Absolutely beautiful, and solid fun so far, only about an hour in

Started Deathloop, the general rogue like flow is a bit obtuse in the beginning, some of the dialog is a little corny, but there is a good FPS in here
September 15, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Starting Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin, what a clever take on farming sim! Really learning a lot of rice production...

Astrea: the Six Sided Oracle is an addicting dice based (not cards!!) rogue like, about 7 hours in and loving the art, sound, and general gameplay. A few bugs on switch, via physical from Super Rare Games
August 23, 2025 at 5:16 AM
Starting Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, my first adventure with an Atlus title. Couldn't put it down last night
August 17, 2025 at 3:18 PM
Playing Terra Memoria via switch physical , what a cute (and yes cozy) RPG. I feel some sea of stars in it, beautiful visuals, and the combat is interesting enough

I beat the 'true ending' hear in the Slay the Spire after 45 ADDICTING hours. (before I found the setting for fast mode). What a perfect, complex rogue like deckbuilder. I guess it was the OG, perfect steam deck game. Played via steam deck and PC

Back in February I had started Days Gone I picked it back up after the remaster was announced. About 22 hours in restarted it from scratch, what a masterpiece! Not only the gameplay but the incredibly complex and real cast of characters. Via PS5 using a PS4 physical copy with remaster downloaded

So took about 9 hours to get my first win in Slay the Spire. I can see by this game is so legendary, such an addicting rogue like deckbiuilder. When do I consider it "done" 🤔

Here Comes Niko was such a cute little romp, wish it was a tad longer! Solid controls, fun exploration and varied gameplay. With a cute message about family dynamics

Finally sat down and played through A First Tree. Been on the backlog for a very long time. Another great story about love, and loss. But there is a lot of running, Beautiful Alaskan forests

Starting Afterdream via switch physical; great visual style!
July 18, 2025 at 4:29 AM
Finished Wildfrost on 10 bells for the "true ending"; surprisingly addicting card battler. I was hooked, took a bit over 30 hours via Nintendo switch physical

Mount No. 651'ish #warcraft

Finished up Signalis, been on my backlog a long time. Cool horror vibes, solid puzzles. I did down the difficulty for the final few rooms just to speed it up. I enjoyed my time with it, but have no clue what the story is

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch should be a nice pallette cleanser after Alan Wake 2
May 20, 2025 at 3:01 AM
Recently tried and bounced off Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen and Divinity Original Sin. Original Sin felt so obscure and involved a lot of silly mechanics in the startingcity (apparently you need to steal paintings and sell them to make any gold?!)
