Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat and his collection of things are taking up a lot of real estate on the grey/silver/white rug. For starters Gizmo himself dominates the rug. His front snow dipped paws (complete with pink toe beans) stretch to one side of the rug and if it wasn’t for the red box at his tail he could probably full stretch out from one side to the other width ways! The rug is about 4ft wide so that tells us how big he is! He’s sort of lying on his side a little bit so not a full jelly belly Friday pose but good enough! The other items in his collection ruddy are a red and white feathery toy, a piece of wire, a white domed toy and the afore mentioned box. The purple handle of a small brush can be seen at his back legs. Gizmo’s orange coat is floofy as always and his darker orange shoulder/leg tabby stripes are on full show too!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is looking positively fearsome today as he sits on mum’s lap! He’s looking right into the camera with not only a 1000 yard but possibly a 2 million light year stare! His green eyes are narrowed and he’s tilting his head in a way that seems to say “I am very comfortabke. I dare you to move mum” 😹😹 The reality is that this is just a look Gizmo can pull - he’s the most sweet, happy, silly lion around and is basically just a big floofy orange baby!

His muzzle is mainly white and has orange fur spots where the white whisker comes from. Darker orange tabby striping appears to form the letter M on his forehead and this close we can see long white whiskers coming out from just above his left eye too. His green eyes are looking right down the camera lens.

Mum’s legs have cosy grey lounge pants with white polar bears covering them and are the reason Gizmo has chosen this spot - comfy and cosy for him too!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is relaxing facing us on a grey/silver/white rug with his big snow dipped paws wide apart reaching out toward a wire cat toy which might seem simple and boring but due to its power to generate random movements is a big favourite! Gizmo is looking on fine form today - his orange coat and white chest fur are soft and luscious and his big ears are headed skywards as always with magnificent orange tips. Darker orange tabby stripes can be seen on his legs and shoulder.

A throwback picture of Buddy and Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cats lying next to each other in a pastel coloured cat bed on top of a dark wood table. Their heads are at opposite ends and here they are really difficult to tell apart even when taking giveaways like ears into account! 😹😹 Both cats have soft and floofy orange coats which once we get past the heads basically merge into one. I’m fairly confident it’s Buddy on the left of the picture and Gizmo on the right due to flatter ears on Buddy’s part but because of the angle it’s actually really not that easy to say who is who! There’s even a snow dipped paw dangling out which could say it belongs to Buddy but even the direction of that is up for debate!

We were touched to receive this wonderful book celebrating Buddy from the amazingly lovely Auntie @DonnaLeeThomps8 - it’s a beautiful way for us to look back at his life and we’re so grateful for her love and support through a tough time last year 🧡🧡🦁🦁

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat has been caught mid-turn as he rolls over into his back while lying on the top plinth of his cream coloured cat tree! His head is on the left of the picture and has almost completed the turn but his floofy belly and massive snow dipped paws are in a variety of positions. His big tail is poking through between the back paws on the right of the picture - it’s all a bit of a mess! 😹😹

Buddy the orange Maine Coon cat lying on a cushion which has wide red stripes and narrower black stripes as a design. His soft white chest coat is smooth and without a single strand of floof out of place as it flows down to meet the cushion. Buddy had smaller and wider set ears than Gizmo but still had the trademark orange tips on them. His eyes had more of a touch of orange than green. Buddy retained a cute kitten look for all of his life and won over many hearts and minds in real life and on social media because of his handsome features. We miss him every day 🌈🌈🧡🧡🦁🦁
