I'm glad you don't like them and don't want to read my books. That you like book covers based on shiny and vibes rather than spending 2 seconds of discernment tells me everything about such readers.

Finished phase 2 of audio books, removing clicks, breathing, and silencing sections that don't have talking (I add another white noise layer in later).
Now onto phase 3... pacing and finding actual recording errors.

"Money can't buy happiness" is total bunk.
-It can buy family (IVF, surrogacy, adoption)
-It can solve health problems
-It houses and feeds
I honestly think this is a privileged excuse for taxing less and not supporting those less fortunate.

The slew of 1 star "reviews" are still there. Goodreads has done nothing to remove them. Someone dunked on all my books for no good reason and this isn't fair.

Have to do taxes for books and art and stuff. If it weren't for the Canada Public Lending Program, my net was like $300 CAD... between 5 books, going wide, and one audiobook.

I remember the days when I used to query my books...
Rejections day after day. Revisions day after day. Rewriting blurbs 100s of times. Waking up and hating my own creativity. Been told I'm not doing X, Y, Z enough, that my writing, me, whatever is garbage.
I don't miss those.

Sound/audio engineering my books... and doing my most favorite part ever... Going through the audio files and removing the inhales. Woo... So inspiring.
I do care about the quality of my end product. I'm indie, I don't use AI. And I hope people appreciate it.

TLDR, I got review bombed by an idiot who also review bombed the anthology I was in. Instead of trying to make me sad, they made a bunch of other authors miserable
