We have seen a female Cooper's in the yard so often we have come to believe that one is now living near. This afternoon she sat on the railing near the front door, easily visible from my desk, for quite a while!

"They" say we will be getting a significant amount of snow in the next few days. The people at Redgate Park are preparing. I wonder if they are protecting the snowplow from the rocks or the rocks from the snowplow.

This bucket formed when ice melt from the roof filled a bucket and the outer 1/2" or so froze. An ice bucket with some beautiful internal structures appeared when the content of the bucket was dumped.
