4 Tbls butter
Salt and pepper

Cube bread into dice-sized cubes. Spread on a cookie sheet and toast in oven on low broil. Melt butter and pour evenly over bread and toss. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve with bouillabaisse if available

Real Cure fans’ favorite Cure album is “This Charming Man,” easily identified by its iconic cover art.

The irony is that the Post's capitulation/failure to endorse makes much more of a statement and has a far more profound impact on this country than any endorsement ever could.

I’m going to say one more general thing about social media and then I’m going to take my own advice and buzz off.

It’s a good idea to mute anybody — no matter how much you respect and like them — whose coping mechanisms for the next few weeks aren’t compatible with yours.

I’m seeing a lot of yard for down-ballot Republican candidates but not a lot for the top of the ticket. I wonder who they’re voting for for president. It’s a mystery.

Countless Americans face the hardships that Kristof describes and don't lose their capacity for empathy or sense of reality. People going through hard times deserve great compassion, but if you're a racist, a fantasist, or a hatemonger, your backstory is not a shield protecting you from criticism.
No more etiquette lessons from op-ed columnists, please, especially those with absolutely no stakes in the outcome of this election.

Dear University Presidents:

They are coming for you. They don’t care if you give in to every single demand, roll over and play dead. They are coming for you.

Stop treating this like a good faith inquiry from civic minded leaders. It’s a hit job.
