Good data visualisations can help make climate data more understandable.

Climate scientist Zeke Hausfather has updated and created his own climate spiral visualisation which shows daily changes in global surface temperature above pre industrial levels.

New term: Hydroclimate whiplash which is a sudden transition between wet and dry weather which is increasing globally, intensifying risks like floods, wildfires, and disease outbreaks. A warming planet means these swings will become more frequent and severe.
