I have a theory about former players turned coach or GM.
They are better at evaluating guys on the other side of the ball then their own position.
Examples:
Prime is bringing stud receivers to CU, aside from Hunter, the DBs are meh.
Elway, drafted great DBs and pass rushers, QBs, not so much

So I missed the Club World Cup semifinals, both of them. It didn’t even cross my mind that they would be played in the middle of the afternoon, in the middle of the week, during the summer when it’s 90+ degrees.
If you’re going to play the games on a European time schedule, just have them there!

So I missed the Club World Cup semifinals, both of them. It didn’t even cross my mind that they would be played in the middle of the afternoon, in the middle of the week, during the summer when it’s 90+ degrees.

Pretty ballsy of Travis Hunter to participate in the draft combine. Tells me two things. First, sitting anything football related is not in his DNA. Second, he’s very confident in his forty time. The only upside for his draft stock is if he runs in the 4.2’s.

Mo Salah can’t stop scoring, and Manchester City can’t stop giving up cheap goals. It’s a recipe for disaster. I can’t believe Liverpool + Mo Salah anytime goal parlay is +250. It seems inevitable.

I think video review officials, in every sport, should be on a clock. If you can’t identify an officiating error in 30 seconds, it must not have been much of an error. game on.

While it was great that the NBA All stars kinda tried last night, the outcome was rigged for the OGs.
In their first game they played non-all stars. Then in the final the played guys that sat around for two hours between games and it showed.
