So I have to think that if an authoritarian politician doesn’t care about his approval numbers, what people think of him, does it make you wonder if that authoritarian politician plans to do something to stay in office when his term is up?

The Trump regime's undermining of Ukraine should push the Europeans to cut ties with the U.S. and try to make it on their own. It will be hard, but it's the only way. The U.S. government has embraced autocracy. Europe must acted now to avoid falling into a Putin-Trump sinkhole.
