Trying the #pentacon4_300 on the #sonya7rii . There were some stars visible last night and the moon. But it was cold and I did not set up the startracker, just some quick shots with a 1s exposure. #vintagelenses #m42 #astrophotography

Development time. The film was Agfa APX 400, deceloped with 1 year old Xtol. The left film was shot with the Contaflex. It had an issue with the shutter, apparently. The right one was shot with the Beltica. Every picture is there.

Went on a photowalk today with this little gem—a Belca Beltica from the 1950s. Produced between 1950 and 1956 by VEB Belca Werk in Dresden. An older gentleman approached me, curious about the camera—definitely a conversation starter in a world of smartphones!

Testing the Pentacon 4/300 on the Fuji X-T1. My model was produced between 1972 and 1975. It’s really heavy but quite good. I’m really looking forward to using it for astrophotography, but today, the weather was completely foggy.

A vitrine in my office reminds me of going out and taking slow photographs again.

Friday was a special day: I had the opportunity to purchase a small collection of old cameras from the city archive! The librarian was happy to free up a shelf in the regional history study library, and I was delighted with these beautiful pieces. Amongst them a fabulous Ica Ideal 385.
