@timb07.bsky.social Hi Tim. I just watched your presentation at DjangoCon Europe about using bigints. I though I'd mention the tool I've been using to help upgrade MANY large tables: github.com/shayonj/pg-osc It's a ruby project but has been so handy. I see you're working on psycopack. Cool!

I just subscribed to kindaVim (https://kindavim.app/) after trialing it for a few weeks. It gives you vim mode in most of your macOS apps. My fingers typically try vim commands in most apps anyway (out of habit) so making it work as expected is easily worth a few bucks/month.
kindaVim
it's kinda like Vim but not really.

@jasonlong.me Are you using a particular Ghostty theme? You tend to have good terminal taste and I’m overwhelmed with options.

I've been writing yearly goals since 2011. This year i created a Claude project called 'My Life' with all past goals. I had Claude analyze trends and guide me through 2024 reflection + 2025 planning. Super effective way to use AI for life planning! 🎯

It's almost 2025 and I stumbled onto this randomly today. It's actually kind of nice to know that some of the old web still lives out there in the dusty corners of the internet.
