Doing some research on the early beginnings of #TRICARE and found another gem in a 1961 edition of the Army-Navy-Air Force Journal. At the time, Congress provided DOD a new authority, allowing SECDEF McNamara to institute a $1 copay for dependents seeking MTF care.
