I think it's good for someone to enjoy the gothic, horror, and recognize the influences that misogyny, racism, systemic violence, etc. have negatively had on the genre. it's also fine to not care for certain tropes. but the desire to purify the impure for what, aesthetic purposes? is mind-boggling.

it's all "cannibalism as a metaphor for love," and horror film stills, and chain necklaces from fast fashion companies until an artist takes the genre and their craft seriously. until it gets too real, and you're forced to confront that "gross" and "afraid" live so close to curiosity and desire.

Cirice, but make it Steddie. Eddie is metal/rockstar known for choosing a member of the crowd to serenade during one of the songs in concert, and Steve was just there with Robin but is the chosen Cirice
