Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

I started reading Zero to Production in Rust (www.zero2prod.com), and it is a wonderful learning book.

It’s really feels like it was written with care. One of the best technical books I’ve read in a long time.

I was writing a function to iterate through a list of items, then get a sub-list of 3 of them, and then calling a function with these 3 items.

In Python. Eventually I learned `itertools.combinations` is a thing, and it aggressively simplified my code.
