The bookstore I used to go to as a kid was shockingly still open. The woman working told me they were closing soon, but I got to buy one more book from The Book Rack.

I’m in Cheyenne, WY for work for the next 8-10 days. It will be the hot most time I’ve spent in my home town since the early 90s. It’s weird being here. Familiar and unfamiliar all at the same time. Here’re are some photos of downtown from my run yesterday.

Kari got me a tattoo gift card for Christmas.I love this Salem’s Lot tattoo, based on the 1979 Tobe Hooper miniseries. It’s also one of the first Stephen King novels I read. It’s a Tobe Hooper, Stephen King, haunted house tattoo all in one. Amazing work from Above So Below in Denver.

I completely understand why HELLRAISER is the most well regarded Clive Barker movie, and I love it, but I think NIGHTBREED is my personal favorite movie of his. A horror fantasy epic with David Cronenberg as a serial killer is just a magic thing.
