Just got back from del Toro's FRANKENSTEIN. Utterly fabulous! Will only be in theaters for a week or so (it's a Netflix production, made mostly for TV) so if you want to see it big screen move fast. Visuals are stunning, interpretation heartbreaking, and Jacob Elordi sensational as the creation.

Just watched KPop Demon Hunters. (Hey, my work requires me to keep up with in pop culture!) Also, grandchild Nyxie has been talking about it. Enjoyed it far more than I anticipated: animation fabulous and often quite funny, characters intriguing, songs terrific, and the story engaging. Great fun!

I was in Egypt during the 2011 revolution and unable to leave for some days. During that fraught time, I watched a lot of news primarily from CNN and Al Jazeera. And I could look out my window. I tell you with great certainty, Al Jazeera's reporting was more accurate. It is a serious news force.
