Carmen de Lavallade, dancer and actress, passed away on December 29th at 94. Here she is in a scene with Harry Belafonte in “Odds Against Tomorrow”. Belafonte produced it and Robert Wise directed it. It’s probably the most beautifully filmed in black & white.
