Every time there's a winter storm, I read a news story about my Senator fleeing the state. Its weirdly nostalgic in a terrible kind of way. But all I can wonder is did he finally take his dog snowflake with him on the trip or did they get left behind again. 😂

Stay safe in the winter storm friends. Last time there was a bad winter storm that left me without power, I dumped all of my laundry and old clothes on my bed and made like a thick nest of clothes for lots of layers of fabric. Real animal burrow vibes lol

Just watched Apocalypse Hotel, probably the last full anime series I'll watch this year. I gotta say it was pretty good. A pretty great story about a hotelier robot and their robot staff keeping their hotel running centuries after humanity left earth due to a virus. Fun comedy great art

I used to struggle to peel plastic seals off food like soups or tv dinners. Then I learned this one weird trick by happenstance. Just get a piece of silverware and weave it between the fingers of the hand thats doing the peeling. It gives me leverage in a way that makes peeling the plastic seal easy

It was fun recalling my days as a professional menace grinder in fallen london though. Just like the old hallowmas days. Petting the starveling, reaping the academic benefits giving a public lecture in the forgotten quarter. I miss the soup kitchen teams, the cat passers, the whole hallowmas crew
