In early 2025 southern California was affected by a serious harmful algal bloom. Satellite data, such as that from Copernicus Sentinel-3 & others supports the monitoring & management of these blooms & their impacts bit.ly/4ndbsY0 @hayleyeversking.bsky.social @brloveday.bsky.social

In addition to the immediate societal impacts, flood events can have long term impacts on water quality & marine ecosystems. This case follows the impacts that floods after Storm Daniel had on the Thessaly & Volos regions of Greece between 2023 & 2024 bit.ly/4jo3zwr #remotesensing #earthobservation
