My pfp is of a staple back in Houston that I miss a whole bunch. Them fried biscuits and the wing dinner with fries was my go to back when I was 250+ lbs. I'm gonna paint this one day and it's gonna be put up in a museum.

During my nap yesterday I dreamt that as I was cutting out my locs that had grown super long (I cut my locs a few weeks ago because they were really unhealthy) but there was A HUGE TARANTULA LIVING IN THEM??????

I have faced fascism before, in this very country. I was one of 120,000 Japanese Americans summarily rounded up and expelled from our homes at gunpoint, all for the crime of looking like the people who bombed Pearl Harbor.
I spent my childhood behind barbed wire. My parents lost everything. 1/

I'm also on a really random side quest that's gonna take like 3 years but if I can do it I'll finally make my sister, niece, and nephew really proud so that's all that matters.
While I had to step away from the nft space not only for my mental health but also to make sure I kept a roof over my head, I noticed a lot of people saying i quit or gave up. I don't understand that. I needed to make sure I was good. Because no one else would. Anyway. I'm still creating.

I have to admit. Bluesky is proving to be just a regurgitation of twitter with all the threats and bigots and racists. Was hoping for a safe space finally. Kinda why I dialed it back on here. I get enough of that shit on twitter.
