Doing research and attending a ton of meetings over the years means my trusty notebook is nearly full.

A multi-unit apt in Charlottetown experienced a significant fire today.

The informal PEI forced displacement + eviction tracker I've kept for 2+ years has shown that displacements experienced by tenants that tend to make the news are often due to fires.

Its been a rough go for renters since 2017.

Note the blip increase in 2020? STR operators reverting back to the long-term market because the pandemic decimated tourist season that year.
