One of the weirdest digital things about moving to a new country has been all the App Store region locked apps that are totally essential for basic utilities, shopping, and digital ID. If you have any Apple Care plans, you cannot switch region -until they expire-.

We've solved the mystery on why all those remote and uninhabited islands were targeted for tariffs by Trump - they show up in US trade data due to mislabelled shipments. eg mixing up Norfolk, Virginia or Norfolk UK with Norfolk Island!

got yelled at 7.30am by the clerk at the local government office for asking me a complex migration law question in german and got dein and ihr wrong.
