New York State DOT is advising motorists that State Route 31 eastbound will be reduced to one lane between Clover St and Pittsford Plaza, from 8 p.m. until 11:30 a.m. beginning Sunday, November 16, for a MCWA project. The work is expected to be completed by November 21. Questions - MCWA 442-2009

NYPIRG has advised my office that they will have a crew doing door to door solicitation in Brighton. As a not for profit, they are not required to have permits per our Town Code.

Our Town of Brighton flags are at half-mast today in honor of Aaron Peters. Aaron was fatally injured while doing tree removal work in Golden Hill State Park for the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.

I had the honor of ceremonially swearing in three new Brighton Police Officers at last Wednesday night's Town Board meeting. (I swore them in originally for that matter too)
