Oregon is lucky to have a strategic planner in the Governor's mansion. Less than 24-hours after yesterday's court ruling, SNAP benefits are restored across the state.

Portland is steady and creative, not “war-ravaged.” And despite the rhetoric, there are no troops on our streets.
Out in Portland this Sunday morning. A crowded coffee shop, people in Ducks gear, a laugh with the barista about how there’s no sign of “war-ravagement.” The people saying otherwise aren’t seeing Portland as it really is.
