From the real life Bunker Hill memorial, to Connor’s parents rowhouse in Charlestown, to the (fictional) Harriers Community Ice Complex, and finally to O’Neill’s Pub, a fictional place that serves as a gathering place for the team, the series is steeped in the history of the city and the culture.

Today is National Boston Day! Boston is a city I’ve visited several times and other than the humidity in the summers, I absolutely love it. It has such a unique personality to it and I was excited to set a hockey series there when I began planning the Scoring Chances series.
