I don’t know who will win tonight, but I am so thankful for the last 2 years of @washingtonspirit.com. The style of play, energy, personality, clever marketing and just overall likability of the team has turned me from a passive fan into a season ticket holder. Really enjoy watching y’all play.

Thank you Emma. I asked for Hutton, Yohannes and Rose combo in midfield and you delivered and they have not disappointed. I’m a Coffey fan too, so tough call between her and Hutton, but I like the combined creativity of these three for #USWNT

Boy. Is Sears can learn to control that first touch, she could be SUPER dangerous. She’s really good already, but that first touch tends to get away from her. #USWNT

I think I post this every game she plays for #USWNT, but Yohannes’ vision and touch are exceptional. Both goals started with soft chips from her that were just fantastic. She’s already special and look forward to years of greatness.

WC is 2 years away for #USWNT, so don’t even know who will be healthy/available, BUT LOVE a MF of Yohannes, Hutton, and Rose. No idea who front line will be due to all the absences. Defense a mess right now. Want to see Sams and McKeown combo. We miss Girma bad.

I have been to a lot of exciting @washingtonspirit.com games, but that one may be the best. Deflating goal conceded in extra time only to get the game winner from Rose on a buzzer beating golazo. Fantastic.

Just back from Spirit game. Bummed they didn’t get 3 points out of that. They were SO good at shutting down Ludmilla and then gifted her one. McKeown was outstanding on defense against her. Just lack forwards attacking the box. Lots of balls right across the six with no one there to finish.

Tuesday in El Salvador and Saturday in front of 40K in SF. Wasn’t always pretty today and had nervous moments after 3-0 lead, but 3 points is a great result @washingtonspirit.com. No game is easy in the NWSL. None.
