Boston, we can’t afford to have Commonwealth Builder lose funding at the state level! I sent a letter to Gov Healey and now I’m asking you to act, too.
Nearly 1,000 affordable homeownership units in Boston’s pipeline are at risk if the Commonwealth Builder program isn’t funded.

It's disappointing to see the federal government and this Republican administration turn its back on small businesses, but I'm not surprised when our federal government is controlled by the wealthiest man in the world. 1/2

A $110M investment to unlock over 30,000 unbuilt housing units in Boston! This initiative expands homeownership opportunities, supports BHA mixed-income developments, and leverages state partnerships—all aimed at building generational wealth and strengthening our neighborhoods. #HousingForAll

I sponsored a Council resolution in April that supports laws like these. Side-running bus lanes are an important piece of our transit future - providing speedier access to all.
Happy to see the Legislature advancing multiple bills to improve road safety. The first is camera-mounted school buses to help our students stay safe, and the second is camera-enforced bus lanes that will make side-running bus lanes more effective.

I'm honored to be named one of The Boston Globe's Bostonians of the Year!
Thank you to @bostonglobe.com for highlighting this transformative work as well as the work of my brother, Rep. Chris Worrell, and the work of Royal Smith, Nick Korn, and State Sen. Liz Miranda, who pushed at every step.

We’re looking to ensure our policies and laws don’t have unintended consequences based upon race, etc. And we’re trying to unlock the billions of extra economic dollars for the state if we close the achievement gap for all. That includes education, but also the Boston Residents Job Policy.

I've pushed for a holistic approach to cultivate heathy communities in Boston. The latest move to make Violence Prevention a standalone office is something I advocated for during the past few years. I'm thrilled to see it come to fruition. Kudos to the Boston Public Health Commission for this move.
