Writer. Forum Owner. LinkedIn Instructor. BIM Enthusiast. Thinks 42 is the Answer to Life, The Universe, and Everything.... or the integer he plugged into his parameters as his personal object ID number.
If you haven't seen his work, Berndnaut Smilde does some amazing REAL images of Nimbus clouds indoors. A search will find many examples of his work, but it reframes the mind in terms of the possible and the lighting and shades/shadows are incredible too.

Successful design and organizations thrive not just on individual (or departmentalized) creativity but on shared integrity and accountability. True excellence in architecture comes when every team moves beyond their own goals, embracing shared responsibility for project's success and ethical impact.

Design teams often ‘follow the money,’ focusing on discipline-specific budgets and timelines. This can create a silo effect, where collaboration falters at critical deadlines as pressures are seen as internal, not shared. #DesignProcess #Collaboration #BreakTheCycle #Education #Accountability

Discipline specific budgets and project hours often create communication silos, with discipline-specific teams sticking to their own meetings and spaces. This fosters mentorship but leaves team members unaware of the intricacies of each discipline's work and the reasons behind it. #Collaboration

this is the HP 7550 pen plotter, probably the fastest ever made. the speed of the pen is 50cm/sec while drawing and 80cm/sec while moving with the pen up! 🤯

While I promise to keep my posts a bit more... current... in terms of technology, I used to be known not as "The Revit Guy" but "The AutoCAD Guy". I was looking at my legacy DWG's and found a few classics from the earlier days of CAD that shipped with AutoCAD. Enjoy the memories!
