The papers says:'The industrial action is in response to ‘detrimental’ proposals around access to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS) and a refusal to recognise or negotiate with unions.'
I hope the school starts to negotiate with the unions ASAP.

Sad to see our NEU independent sector members being forced to take on second jobs simply to make ends meet.
Private school teachers told us they are working as nannies or babysitters to supplement their wages.

I feel sorry for all the schools, both state and independent, who will be inspected by this new system.
This is not the way to improve standards in education.
Another poor decision.
OFSTED is discredited and must be abolished or radically restructured.

Ofsted has failed to take seriously the enormous concerns of the profession. It is a discredited organisation with its name continually in the mud. It is incapable of introspection or change – time to #AbolishOfsted and replace it with a new system that is supportive, effective and far.
