It's always a thrill to be a small part of Austin and Kristin's endeavors. The sheer amount of talent and artistry they exude is off the charts.
This weekend I had the honor and exhilaration of soloing with my orchestra to premiere Bottlenose Fantasia, an adaptation of "Delphinus Delphis" from ABZU that was arranged into a full oboe solo feature by @awintory.bsky.social himself & @brianlaguardia2.bsky.social 🐬🦈 The audience loved it!

This series highlights, among other things, the climactic boss fight at the end of the first half of the game I scored for six years. Check it out if you don't have the time for all seven hours!

"...one of the most memorable soundtracks of the year, a massive complement considering it's up there with the likes of Hades 2 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33."

This is probably the best complement we on the music team have ever received! Read more here:

Had a blast arranging some Undertale music for this and can't wait to hear the orchestra nail it!
Taking this concert to another level were the Concordis Chamber Choir, soprano Justine Anderson, and conductor Vanessa Scammell 🎙️

With superb arrangements by Jessica Wells, @brianlaguardia2.bsky.social, @dallascrane.bsky.social, Susie Seiter, & Alex Turley 🎵

The game I worked on is currently #1 on OpenCritic's 2025 Hall of Fame. Who knows how long it'll last, but for a tiny team, brand new IP and first-ever title (both for the studio and myself as composer proper), I couldn't be more excited!

Had a ton of funn arranging for the GDC Concert again this year! My favorite assignment was the "if X made Y" medley, full of musical jokes and fun mashups. I just posted the score with the audio and footage, take a look!

Sometimes you discover, to your own great shock, that you're actually good at something you didn't think you would be. Recently, that was extemporaneous public speaking! Thanks, Parker Symphony!

This is going to be crazy! Anyone in the general vicinity of GDC won't want to miss it!
Who's coming to GDC?

And therefore who's coming to our concert??? Weds at 1230, the conference opener! Lots of fun surprises planned!!

Another glowing review and it's melting my heart. I spent so long terrified that connoisseurs of the genre would bounce off my western-colored orchestral stuff and traditional Japanese insturmentation approach. Full OST link coming soon!

It's happening again! Always thrilled and honored to be arranging charts for the best thing about GDC. This is music that inspires me every day and pushes the envelope of the art form. If you're in San Fran this march, don't miss it! It's free for every level!

I am at a point in my career where I can't afford ensembles, only soloists. So it goes without saying that when I get stems back from a true pro on a project I've worked on for five years straight, I get a quite giddy. Truly nothing replaces live musicians, never will.
